Peter Sargent is a highly experienced commercial lawyer who has been practising since 1984. With more than four decades of legal experience, he advises businesses, investors, lenders, developers, and corporate clients on a broad range of commercial, banking, finance, property, and construction matters.

Peter's career includes experience at some of the most respected law firms in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Early in his career, he worked within the construction and engineering department of a leading London law firm, gaining valuable experience in major construction and infrastructure projects. Upon returning to New Zealand, he spent seven years in the banking department of a leading national law firm before becoming a partner at a large Auckland firm, where he led its commercial, banking, and construction practice groups.

He later spent seven years as a partner in a well-established Auckland commercial law firm, continuing to advise clients on complex commercial transactions, banking arrangements, corporate structures, and property-related matters.
